Falcon Crest Golf Club is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Kuna, Idaho.
Falcon Crest Golf Club first opened for play in April 2001. Owner/designer Hans Borbonus, designed Falcon Crest with raised tees, flat tree-lined fairways, and big undulating greens that play fast – about 9.5 on the stimpmeter.
Located 7 miles outside of Boise, this par 72 tournament level course plays from 5,400 to 7,000 yards, and includes 4 sets of tees to accommodate all handicaps. The course lies in the heart of the Boise valley, and golfers will be treated to beautiful views of the surrounding mountains from throughout the course. There are 11 lakes that come into play on at least 11 holes. For this long course (7 miles of cart paths throughout) carts are recommended and are mandatory Friday through Sunday.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 7005 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5423 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 551 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 5, a par-3 that plays to 186 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 7, a 426 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 12, a 375 yard par-4.

Played on Monday. Special pricing. This is one awesome golf courss. In great conditon, pace of play was fast, in fact, when I nearly lost a ball, I held up play. Nice feeling, everyone is moving forward. Not pressured, just play fast. Wonderful conditions. Play this one.

Three courses. The "Freedom" Course is the most difficult and very long. This place is lots of fun and supported by a great staff!

Cart required before noon which makes the course a little pricy for Boise standards. The new 9 hole Freedom course (par 36) is very nice and very long...Can walk which is a bonus. Great course so if you can find a deal on-line its a must play. Hardest par 4 in the state of Idaho, hole #18.....yikes.... must hit a 200yd+ second shot to carry pnd and hit green. I ahve tried this shot many times and have always failed.

This Course is in great shape for this early in the season. Keep up the good work Al and Staff.
Question, you used to have someone pull all the ball inpressions on the greens. Please go back to doing so. Maybe put up a reminder sign in the club house to fix Ball Marks on Greens.

Falcon Crest is a challenging and enjoyable course with its variety of hole layouts and generally excellent course conditions. Carts are recommended for the numerous elevation changes and length. (You would also benefit using a cart on the Freedom course, which is even longer and more difficult). I see a course maturing in a few more years to where the rough and borders on some of the fairways will be more exotic than dirt and weeds when this will definitely be one of the premiere places to play in the valley. I enjoy getting onto the course whenever I'm in the area from California. Worth the trip!
